F.A.Q'S

If you have any questions left unanswered, please get in touch and we will be happy to talk you through.

  • How do I make an enquiry?
You can use the website enquiry form to submit the date and location of your event and we will be in touch to confirm availability, package options and price information. Additionally you can contact us directly at info@mojoslive.com on all forms of social media @mojoslive or via phone on 0778 414 3949
  • How do we confirm the booking?
After the initial enquiry and discussions, in order to confirm the booking a 20% deposit is required. 20% of the total fee secures the date, the remaining 80% is required no later than 7 days prior to the booking date. Mojos act on a first come basis in the interest of fairness, but once the deposit is received that confirms the date.
  • How far do the band travel?
Mojos travel and perform all over the UK and beyond.
  • What is the band lineup?
Mojos line up as a 4 piece band with lead vocals, guitar vocals, bass vocals and drums. Over the years we have been asked to perform as many different lineups and now the Mojos teams consists of 15 of the UK's finest musicians ranging from brass, percussion, keys and vocalists. With a wealth of experience performing as multiple lineups from 4 piece to 9 piece, we can build a bigger band a create the perfect lineup specially for you.
  • Can the band perform the first dance live?
We love performing first dances, so if this is something you would like, all we need to know is the song in good time (around 4 weeks prior to dance) and we will do the rest.
  • How long do you play for?
Our sets are a total of 120 minutes and can be split into 2x60 minutes or 3x40 minutes. If there are specific timing which we need to adapt to, we can arrange the sets to run as requested.
  • Do you provide background music and DJ options?
Yes, absolutely. We provide music before, in between and after the band. Mojos can provide two DJ options. The playlist option which is an unmanned playlist filled with your requests sent prior to the evening and is complimentary with each quote. The party playlist which is a DJ booth setup and a band member staying with the system taking requests throughout the evening. Please let us know which option you require.
  • How much time do you need to set up and soundcheck?
For a set up and soundcheck we need between 75 - 90 minutes. With all the equipment and lighting we make sure the room a stage sets the tone for the evening. We have raced against the clock on occasion so if we need to set up quicker then we can.
  • Do you provide PA & Lighting?
Mojos come with all backline amps, PA and professional grade production lighting as standard. From Par cans, to lighting sticks to moving heads, we can light the room to party.
  • Early arrival and late finish times?
We typically plan for a 6pm arrival ready for an 8pm start and a 12am finish time. If you need Mojos to arrive earlier or finish after midnight, the quote will reflect the additional time required.
  • Can we add to the initial enquiry?
Of course. Throughout the time between enquiry and performance, we are always on hand to discuss ideas and make sure the day is memorable for all the right reasons. We work very closely with our clients, we're only an email, yet or phone call away.
  • Do you require refreshments?
It would be greatly appreciated. If booking the full day package, the members would require a meal at some point throughout the day, along with soft drinks. For the evening performance, being part of the evening food or having a snack would be most welcome.
  • Public Liability and PAT Test certificate
The band has Public Liability to the value of £10,000,000 (ten million). Should we requite more, we can add to the policy. All our equipment is PAT tested yearly. Certificates for both can be provided upon request.
  • What if the venue has a sound limiter?
A sound limiter is no problem for the band. We have performed countless bookings with sound limiters. As long as we are notified in discussions, we can make provisions for the limiter.
